Terminal 3 is a big improvement in the airport. It’s made to handle a lot more people. At first, it can handle up to 8 million passengers each year. But they plan to make it even bigger, so it can handle up to 13 million passengers when Phase 2 is done. This shows that Lucknow is becoming more important for business and tourism. So, they need better facilities to handle more travelers.

Terminal 3 will be used by big domestic airlines like IndiGo, Air India, Vistara, and others. They’re working closely with the airport to make sure everything goes smoothly when they move there. They want things to be efficient and easy for passengers.

While domestic flights will move to Terminal 3, international flights will continue to use Terminal 1. This separation is done to reduce crowding and make security and immigration processes smoother for people flying internationally.

IndiGo, a big airline for flights within the country, is telling passengers about the change in operations early. They’re using SMS, calls, and emails to make sure passengers and travel agents know beforehand. They’re telling people to double-check which terminal to go to on the day they travel, using IndiGo’s website or app, to avoid any confusion.

This change at the airport will make traveling and tourism in Lucknow even better. With improved facilities and more space, the airport can handle more visitors. This could lead to more people coming to Lucknow for tourism and business, boosting local businesses and activities.
